Sho Shibuya (渋谷 翔, Shibuya Shō) is a transfer student to Eikichi Onizuka's Class 3-4 and the leader of Misuzu Daimon's "Angels". In his former school, he was bullied to the point of insanity, reinforced with a flashback where he is stripped down to his underwear, with his classmates and even his teacher writing obscenities and symbols on his body with permanent markers. His own parents even thought of institutionalizing him, but instead, gave total guardianship over to Daimon. For this reason, he has a severe fear of parental abandonment, and keeps a tight, obedient relationship with Daimon (it is implied in another flashback that he was sexually abused by his mother, leading to a murder-suicide attempt that brought Daimon into his life as his counselor, before claiming guardianship status).
At first he appears to be a weak, nerdy boy prone to being picked on by bullies, similar to Noboru at the beginning of the manga. However, it's revealed that he's a troubled and calculating agent for Ms. Daimon, planted in Onizuka's class to destroy him. His calm cover starts slipping when Miyabi threatens to kill herself, with Sho being the only one urging her to jump, since it will be sure to get Onizuka fired. Daimon scolds him for being reckless, and fires him from the Angels. Before she can tell this to the others, he calls an emergency Angel meeting and tells them that they need to outright kill Onizuka. The others, especially Ai Tokiwa, refuse to go along with his plan, and he brutally beats them up with his fists and broken mop handles. He then gathers a gang and heads to the hospital to kill Onizuka, knowing that one blow to the head is all it will take. He and his thugs manage to get a few hits in, taking down Onizuka, before the police and Ms. Daimon arrive. She disavows his actions, causing him to go even more crazy as he thinks she's abandoning him. He heads back to the school and sets it on fire.
In the end, Chairlady Sakurai and Ms. Daimon keep it a secret that he started the fire, and Onizuka lies that he doesn't remember who attacked him, so Sho gets off very lightly.
