Bōsōztenshi (Midnight Angels)

The Midnight Angels was a biker gang based in Shonan. The group was founded by Masaki Kyosuke and his friends.

The Midnight Angels were known for riding along National Route 134 at night. They were the biker gang that ruled the 134.

First Shonan War[]

During the second generation of the Midnight Angels the gang was split into three groups, the Enoshima branch, the Inamura branch, and the main branch. The fighting between the groups about who should be the true successor to the first generation leader Masaki Kyosuke, caused the Shonan area to be thrown into chaos. The second generation leader Akutsu Junya burned Kamishima Toshiki, the leader of the Inamura branch, during the gang war. This act put both Kamishima and Akutsu out of commision, due to Kamishima being badly injured, and Akutsu being caught by the police and was sent to juvenile detention for two years. This led to the end of the first war between the second generation members of the Midnight Angels.

Third Generation[]

During the third generation of the Midnight Angels the Onibaku defeated the members of the gang and caused the Midnight Angels to disband.

Second Shonan War[]

After Akutsu's release from juvenile detention the three branches of the second returned and started the second Shonan War. In preparation for Akutsu's return Yasha, Akutsu's girlfriend reformed the Midnight Angels. She targeted the members of the third generation of the Midnight Angels and the Onibaku.

The three branches fought to prove themselves as the true successor to Masaki Kyosuke. Near the end of the Second Shonan War, Akutsu trapped both Kamishima and Ryuji into a warehouse, after a fight for the coat that belonged to the founder Masaki. It was revealed that the coat Ryuji had was a fake and not the real coat of the first generation leader. Yasha managed to snap out of Akutsu's control turned back into Nagase Nagisa. She then protected Ryuji from Akutsu. Akutsu blew up the warehouse injuring Ryuji and put Kamishima in critical condition.

Onizuka Eikichi went on a hunt for Akutsu after the explosion while wearing the legendary coat of Masaki Kyosuke. Onizuka and Akutsu have a duel after he finds Akutsu. He reveals to Akutsu the reason why he received Masaki's coat. Which was to "Never let the Midnight Angels ride again!"

Onizuka then tells Akutsu to follow him to the place where Masaki Kyosuke died. Akutsu refuses to believe Masaki died, while the police arrive to the scene. Akutsu steals one of the officer's guns and proceeds to threaten Onizuka with it. Kamishima appears out of nowhere after escaping the hospital and stabs Akutsu and throws him off the cliffside into the sea.

Aftermath[]

When Akutsu wakes up people tell him he was saved by a man who was wearing Masaki Kyosuke's coat.

Onizuka calls the Midnight Angels to meet at the shore to watch him burn the Coat of Masaki Kyosuke. The members then ride on National Route 134 in memory of the founder Masaki Kyosuke.
